Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Good Find ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, where it comes from, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect, and where from
When you contact us. If you fill in a form or email us, we collect what you give us: usually your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), your business type, and whatever you write in your message. You can make a general enquiry without giving your full name.
For outreach. Lead generation is our work. To find people who may want to hear from us or from our clients, we collect business contact details from publicly available sources, such as company websites, business directories and professional networking sites. That's usually a name, job title, business name, work email address and work phone number. We only collect what's relevant to someone's professional role, and we don't seek out sensitive information such as health or political views.
When you use this website. Our analytics and hosting tools record technical details such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit. See "Cookies and analytics" below.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, understand what you need, provide our services, send invoices, and stay in touch with you about that work.
We use business contact details collected for outreach to send short, relevant messages about our services or, when we work for a client, about theirs. Every message says who it's from and includes a simple way to unsubscribe, as the Spam Act 2003 requires. When we run outreach for a client, the client's own privacy policy also applies.
We don't use your information for anything you wouldn't reasonably expect, and we never sell it.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of trusted service providers to run our business, and share information with them only as needed:
- HubSpot, which runs our enquiry forms and contact records
- Microsoft 365, for email and documents
- Netlify, which hosts this website
- Google Analytics, for website statistics
- Advertising platforms (such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn), when we run ads for you or for ourselves
When we work for a client, we share the details of people who have shown interest with that client so they can follow up. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Overseas storage
Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they or their sub-processors operate. We choose established providers with strong security practices and take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information in a way that's consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we store and protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, including limiting who can access it. We keep personal information only as long as we need it. Records we must keep for tax purposes, such as invoices, are kept for five years. No system is ever completely secure, but we treat your details with care.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information, and it is shared with Google, which may process it outside Australia. We use it only in aggregate to improve the site, never to identify you personally. Our enquiry forms are provided by HubSpot, which may also set cookies so the form works.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's opt-out browser add-on. You can read how Google uses this data in its partner sites policy.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time, or to stop contacting you. Just get in touch, or use the unsubscribe link in any message we send. If you ask us to stop, we keep a minimal record (such as your email address) on a do-not-contact list, so we don't reach out again by mistake.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, please email team@good-find.com.au and tell us what happened. We'll acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to respond in full within 30 days.
If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
