Terms of engagement
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply when you engage Good Find (ABN 24 981 670 680) for any of our services. Your written proposal sets out the services, fees and term you've chosen. If your proposal and these terms ever differ, the proposal wins.
Fees and GST
Our prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, which we add at 10%. We're registered for GST, so every invoice is a tax invoice. Your rate is fixed for the term you choose. If we change our prices, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, and the new price only applies once your current term ends.
Terms and minimums
- Month to month: our standard rate plus 20%. No minimum term. Either of us can end it with 30 days' notice.
- 3 months: our standard rate, with a 3-month minimum.
- 6 months: 10% off the standard rate, with a 6-month minimum.
- 12 months: 15% off the standard rate, with a 12-month minimum.
When a minimum term ends, your service continues month to month at the same rate until you renew or give us 30 days' notice. We'll remind you before any term ends.
Ending early
If you need to end a 3, 6 or 12 month term early, give us 30 days' notice. We'll then charge the difference between your rate and the month-to-month rate for the months you've already had. That's the only exit cost. There's no penalty on top and no charge for the months you don't use.
Either of us can end the agreement straight away, by notice in writing, if the other seriously breaches these terms and doesn't fix it within 14 days of being asked.
Billing and payment
Monthly services are invoiced monthly in advance. Invoices are due within 7 days. Websites and landing pages are invoiced 50% up front and 50% at launch. If an invoice is more than 14 days overdue, we may pause work until it's paid.
Ad budgets
Our fee covers setting up and managing your ads. Your ad budget is separate. It's paid by you, straight to the platform (such as Google, Meta or LinkedIn), from accounts in your name. We never mark up your ad spend.
What you own
Once you've paid for it, you own the work we make for you: your website, copy, ads, and the contact lists and reports we build for your business. Your ad accounts, website and domain stay in your name. We keep the right to use our own templates, tools and know-how on other work, but never your confidential information.
Working together
We'll do the work with care and skill, keep you updated, and send a short report each month. You agree to give us the information and approvals we need on time, and to make sure what you tell us about your business is accurate. You approve your messaging before any outreach goes out in your name.
We run outreach in line with the Spam Act 2003 and the Privacy Act 1988. You agree that what we promote for you is lawful and that you'll honour any unsubscribe requests passed on to you. For how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
Results
Marketing results depend on many things outside our control, including your market, your offer and how quickly you follow up. We'll always give you an honest view of what to expect, but we can't guarantee a particular number of leads, sales or rankings.
Confidentiality
We keep your business information confidential and only use it to do your work. We won't share it with anyone except the service providers we need to deliver it, or where the law requires.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees. Where the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales. We may update these terms from time to time. Changes won't apply to a term you've already agreed to unless you accept them in writing.
